The first Alhambra 5K Pumpkin Run is coming to town and is expected to be amazing! On Saturday, October 4th, the Alhambra 5K Pumpkin Run will take place at Alhambra Park on Palm Avenue from 8:00am until 3:00pm. Registration begins promptly at 8:00am and the runners’ warm-up will begin at 8:45am.
Do not fret! You don’t have to be an experienced marathon runner to participate in this fun event. With a 5K walk and 5K run available, you can choose whichever your skill level permits! Registration for a group of 5-10 runners is $30 per person when you pre-register. Pre-sale single runner registration is $35 and regular registration for single runners is $40. The late single runner will be $45 for registration and $50 on the day of the race. Each runner will receive a t-shirt, a runners bib, and an end of the race medal.
To participate in this event, you must bring your own running shoes. We will be giving you a shirt to run in but you’re welcome to dress up for Halloween! The theme of the Alhambra 5K Pumpkin Run is orange, black, and white, so feel free to stick to the theme or dress up as a pumpkin!
Once the race ends, a festival will commence in the park. You can bring your own blanket, a picnic basket, water, folding chairs, and a camera to snapshot memories of the fun filled day! The festival will begin at 10:00am and end at about 3:00pm. This is truly an event that you won’t want to miss!
