June 1st is the date to take advantage of an opportunity to sample some of the great flavors of Alhambra with A Taste of Alhambra. For three hours from 5 pm to 8 pm, more than 40 Alhambra restaurants, brewing companies and local wineries will be sampling their food and beverages in this annual festival. This event is hosted by Downtown Alhambra and the Alhambra Education Foundation. You can save $10 by getting tickets ahead of time. Advanced pre-sale tickets are $50 and at the event they will be $60.
A Taste of Alhambra takes place at South Second Street between Main Street and Commonwealth in Downtown Alhambra, and it is a terrific way to network and get introduced to an assortment of dining and drinking options. For tickets or for more information, call 626-282-5767.
